This is my latest creation - a crocheted winter cowl. The weather has turned so cold here and I am glad to have it! I followed the pattern used by Lucy at Attic 24 that she is using for her blanket CAL. I love her blanket but am just in the process of completing my own snowflake blanket and needed a smaller project so adapted it to the cowl.
It worked up really quickly using chunky yarn and a 5.00 crochet hook. I used James C Brett Marble Chunky in shade 31. I picked this yarn up last October whilst on holiday in Cornwall and hadn't yet done anything with it. I see there are some other amazing shades on there particularly 14 and 37 - I wish they had names though, rather than numbers. Perhaps 'Winter Cherry' and 'Sugar Plum'? A clear sign that my head is now in winter mode with just a sprinkling of Christmas on the side!
